José Carlos Sandoval García
José Carlos is an account manager at Chula Vista Imports, a family owned importing and exporting business. Additionally, he also serves as a consultant in advancement with the Michoacana Premiums. Prior to joining Chula Vista full time, José Carlos began his own artisan brand huarache business, personal development Podcast, ran a marketing team, learned to day-trade, and grew a five-figure crypto and NFT portfolio while studying business management at Marymount California University. Before Marymount California University, José Carlos studied business management and played Division 1 soccer at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and in NAIA side Robert Morris University Chicago campus. José Carlos also enjoyed a stint of overseas soccer with the Universidad de Oviedo in Asturias, Spain. Always a leader on and off the field, José Carlos now dedicates his time to guiding many young Latinos in personal and professional development alongside Iskali. |
Roxana Rueda
Roxana Rueda Moreno, known as Roxy, is a dynamic individual with a passion for education and faith leadership. Raised in West Ridge, Chicago, Roxy is a teacher's assistant, and works with preschool children. As a youth ministry leader at Iskali, she coordinates Discipleship for 2024, contributes to Iskali's Liturgical Planning team, and serves as a coordinator of the Service Day Committee. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Roxy enjoys reading, painting, and social dancing. Notably, her confirmation saint is Mother Cabrini, reflecting her deep spiritual connection within the Iskali community. |
Ulysses Cárdenas
Ulysses, serves as a co-coordinator for the Discipleship Program, Iskali's next level up from Initiation Retreat, leading young adult Catholics to deepen their faith through events, such as Service Day. He also serves as a guia for the Mother Cabrini Community in Casa Iskali and consistently travels from his distant home in Wauconda, IL. Having lived his Initiation Retreat all the way back in 2016, Ulysses is a committed member of the Iskali community and is a long time veteran. His passion for technology has been of great use wherever he goes and is currently applying to hopefully receive an Accelerated Bachelor's and Master's IT Management degree from Western Governor's University. |
