Building faith at home, together
Raising a family in today’s world isn’t easy — especially when you
want to pass on your faith in a meaningful way.
The Iskali Holy Family Initiative exists to accompany Latino parents as
they live out their vocation as the primary formers of faith in their
families. Rooted in trust, culture, and community, this initiative
responds to the real and present needs of parents
navigating family life, faith, and identity in today’s world.

We have seen that when parents are supported, families are
transformed. Through intentional formation, shared experiences, and
pastoral accompaniment, mothers and fathers are growing in
confidence, deepening their faith, and strengthening their
relationships with their children.
Why it Matters
Why it Matters
Many families want to raise their children in the
faith but don’t always know where to start — or how
to sustain it in everyday life.
At Iskali, we believe the home is more than a place
to live: it’s a domestic church, where children first
encounter God through love, example, and daily life.
This program helps parents embrace that role with
confidence and support.

Domestic Church
Renewed in Faith,
Sent in Love
Each year, the Parent Retreat offers
mothers and fathers a dedicated
space to step away from the busyness
of daily life and reconnect with God,
with themselves, and with one
another. Through moments of prayer,
reflection, and community, parents are
invited to renew their faith, strengthen
their vocation, and return home with a
deeper sense of peace, clarity, and
purpose in their family life.
Faith at Home
Creating intentional and protected time each week to pray, reflect, and grow together as a family. We encourage families to make weekly prayer a central moment in the home. By coming together to pray, families strengthen their relationship with God and with one another, creating spaces of unity, trust, and hope amid the realities of daily life.
Monthly Parent
Gatherings
Through ongoing monthly gatherings, parents build relationships that extend beyond a single program. These communities become spaces of trust, accountability, and encouragement.

Holy Family Camp
The Holy Family Camp invites families to step away from daily life and grow together in faith, rest, and joy. Through prayer, shared activities, and time in community, families deepen their connection with God and with one another. Families will also have the opportunity to experience camping on the Casa Iskali grounds, offering a supportive and welcoming introduction for those who are new to camping.

The impact
The impact
Throughout this year, we have witnessed:
• Parents growing in confidence as leaders within their families
• Increased intentionality in practicing and sharing faith at home
• Stronger communication between spouses and with their children
• A renewed sense of belonging within the Church
What begins as a gathering becomes something more. It becomes a network of families walking together, supporting one another, and choosing faith daily.
Looking ahead
Looking ahead
The Holy Family Program is growing into a network of families committed to living their faith with intention.
By supporting parents, we are strengthening not only families — but the future of the Church.
