Faith &
Community
Growing in faith, together.
At Iskali, we accompany young Latinos on a journey of faith, formation, and
community. Through retreats, intentional small groups, and a structured
formation program, young adults encounter Christ, grow as disciples, and
discover their call to leadership and service.
Rooted in the Catholic faith and developed in collaboration with the
McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, our
formation approach integrates spiritual, human, and leadership
development so that young people can live their faith fully in everyday life.
How We Form Missionary Disciples
Retreats
Iskali’s retreats offer young Latinos a powerful encounter with
God through dynamic activities, guided reflections, visual
storytelling, and evangelistic skits.
Participants experience community, prayer, and personal
reflection that help them deepen their relationship with Christ.
Programs include:
Initiation Retreat
Discipleship Retreat
Intentional Communities
At the heart of Iskali are small discipleship communities where young adults gather regularly to pray,
grow in faith, and support one another.
These communities foster:
Within these groups, participants experience the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit while growing as Spirit-filled missionary disciples.
Faith Formation Program
Iskali offers a six-month, three-level formation program that combines theological, pastoral, and human formation.
Developed in partnership with the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, the curriculum helps young adults deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith while developing the leadership skills needed to serve their communities.
In addition to the program, Iskali partners with higher-
education institutions to support the integrated formation of young Latino leaders.
The Iskali Community
Iskali is a Catholic community of the faithful committed to
living as missionary disciples. Inspired by Our Lady of
Guadalupe’s call to Saint Juan Diego, we seek to form a
new generation of Spirit-filled leaders who bring the Gospel
to young people and families searching for hope.
Through prayer, formation, and community life, Iskali invites
young adults to encounter Jesus personally and live a life
transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Our mission is to help them respond to their baptismal call
and grow toward human flourishing—in faith, leadership,
and service to others.
Our Members
There are three paths of membership within the Iskali community. Each
represents a unique way to respond to God’s call while sharing the same mission.
Community
Individuals who support the
mission and participate in
community life and activities.
Associates
Members who commit to a
deeper journey of formation
and leadership within Iskali.
Covenant Members
Those who make a formal
spiritual commitment to the
mission and charism of Iskali.
Although each path reflects a different vocation, all members are united in
one mission: forming a community of joyful missionary disciples.
Community Prayer
